Loved it lots of beef in menu item 1a even a decent amount of oxtail. On the table in less than 5 min perfect spot to get lunch.
Huge pho portions, comfy booths, also love the different options of noodles. They have a huge menu. I come here for the seafood pho #32 which used to come with a crab claw but is no longer included.
This is so good 👍 😊
This place I visit sometimes is really delicious seafood rice noodles, spring rolls, and egg rolls.Knowing in advance that I love spicy sauce, my pretty sister there brought me a lot of spicy sauce. I want to go there more often because the service was good and the taste was good.
5/1/2022, arrived at 9:40am. Only Pho available at this time. Rice and noodles available after 11am. Not everything available. 4/24/22 @ 11:15am. Not crowded. The metal holder at table needs to be cleaned. Everything else is clean. Waiter very courteous and respectful. Food and price is reasonable.
Bun bo Hue + ox tail to-go for $15. Pretty big portion. The color and smell might trick you to think that it's TERRIBLY spicy. But it's not. So for the spicy eater and real BBH enthusiasts out there, add their chilly sauce, def make the broth taste better. Overall it's a decent BBH. Not the best, but better than many places.
Seriously, its 2018 and they still only do cash? That alone would be a deterrent for anybody to go. I haven't been to this place since 2008. It looks the same.
Service:
The waiter took awhile to come to us even though it wasn't busy. They forgot our water, but the guy helped me when I asked. The food however came out pretty fast. The side of my bowl had grease. They should wipe it down before serving the meal.

Ambience:
There are plenty of televisions in the restaurant. They have news and sports playing. The chairs are better than the typical pho restaurant. Almost each of the table has their own condiments and utensils. The decors are okay. Not much Vietnamese
Cash only. Although I was able to pay with my credit card, I had to pay more than the cash price.
I ordered # 6 ox tail beef soup with noodles. The soup was ok, but a few pieces of ox tails were too rough to chew. I couldn't really eat a few pieces.
My daughter ordered a vermicelli. The smell was too bad - like fish smell.
While waiting, I smelled smoke. Someone was smoking right outside the rear door. And when the door was opened, the waiter and presumably another employee - maybe the chef? - came into the restaurant. I believe they (or one of them) smoked during lunch time.
My daughter ordered a boba tea. I tasted a bit and it tasted slightly smoky. I'm not too sure if something smoky in the boba tea was real or not.
We felt the waiter was rude. Maybe it was just because we didn't easily understood his English. Anyway, the communication was not easy and we were feeling to get pushed.
2 adults and 2 kids, we spent about 80$ for the lunch, which is more than we usually spend in a pho restaurant, but the food quality and service was way less than we normally experienced in other pho restaurants.
Joneszing for pho? Look no further, this place serves up the best pho in the south bay, hands down. The location is not great, a bit seedy, the atmosphere is basic, but the pho is the best!
